Senseo Coffee Machines
Senseo, an espresso maker designed by Philips and Douwe Egberts together is a machine that brews fresh coffee using pods. It makes use of coffee pods to make a fresh cup of coffee.
Unlike some other easy-to-use machines, Senseo's final product tastes like coffee. It's also simpler to clean.
This case occurred in July 2004 and is focused on the introduction of the first serious competitor to senseo, Tassimo, promoted by Kraft.
Senseo Seletc
The Senseo Seletc is an easy-to-use, compact pod-based coffee maker made by Philips. It uses a proprietary pod system designed by Douwe Egberts that allows you to brew one cup of coffee quickly and without the hassle of dealing with messy grounds or filters. The Senseo Seletc is easy to use and has an elegant design that is attractive on your counter. The large water tank allows it to make 10 cups of coffee in one go. It comes with a power button which will blink to indicate that it's ready to serve and also an indicator light that switches off when the reservoir is empty. The Senseo Seletc has a memory feature that allows you to save your favorite recipes.
You can make a single or a double cup of coffee using the Senseo Seletc. Simply take the tab off on the top of the machine, and then place the pod in the middle of the slot. To begin making the coffee you need to press the power button located in center of the front. To pause the brewing process simply press the button to the right of the power button. The Senseo Seletc has an automatic shutoff feature which turns the machine off when it is done brewing.
In comparison to traditional filter coffee makers, the Senseo Seletc is less taxing on the environment. It uses less energy and is constructed of recycled materials which makes it a more sustainable option. In addition the Senseo Seletc is cheaper than other pod coffeemakers.
There are many different Senseo machines that are available each with their own distinct features. The original Senseo machine is the cheapest, while the Senseo Quadrante is more functional.

The Senseo Seletc has a new brick-like style that's more easy to clean than earlier models. It comes with a removable and washable drip tray, coffee spout, and water tank. It also comes with a metal cup plate and a filter that can be reused. The Senseo Seletc has been made to be easy to use and includes an easy operation system and the Memo function to store favourite recipes. The spout for coffee has been slightly tilted to the front and the coffee pod holders have been elevated to provide better visibility. This machine is compatible with all Senseo coffee pods including the XL and milk-based ones. It's perfect for anyone who wants an efficient, simple-to-use espresso maker. It's great for small spaces or office. It comes with a one-year limited warranty.
Senseo Selut
Senseo is a coffee-brewing device from the Dutch companies Philips & Douwe Egberts. The Senseo systems are based off filter pads, which are also known as coffeepads (or "caffe pods" in some countries). The system is known for its ability to make espresso-style drinks such as cappuccino or cafe latte by pressing some buttons.
The unique pressurized brewing process of Senseo creates crema-like layers of pure coffee, not cream. Coffeee is what gives Senseo its distinctive aroma and taste. Senseo coffee comes in a variety of blends like mocca, regular and dark roast. There are also other flavors added to the coffees like cafe choco or latte. There are also decaffeinated versions.
Mondelez, via its Tassimo product, competes against Senseo on the single-serve coffee market. In order to solve the issue of competition, the Commission looked into whether there was a possible overlap between the markets of Senseo and Tassimo (as as well as their respective coffee pods in Austria, Denmark France, Germany Italy, the Netherlands Spain and the UK) in Austria. The Commission concluded that there was not any market overlap, as Senseo's and Tassimo's closest competitors aren't one another. Furthermore the market share of Senseo in these countries is small, and the Transaction will not significantly change this.
